The Memorial Service and Committal is being held at Randalls Park Leatherhead on Monday 20th September 2021 at 2:45pm
This is followed by a Prayer and Thanksgiving service at St Lawrence Church in Effingham at 3:45pm, after which you are invited to refreshments at The Plough, also in Effingham village.
In order to cater for refreshments it would be useful if you could notify Jo via email jo_hawkins@me.com if you believe you will be attending - not emailing should definitely not preclude you deciding to attend at a later date.
Although COVID restrictions have been lifted, in order that any vulnerable people choosing to attend can be protected we would politely request that all people attending take a lateral flow test, or wear a face covering.
Terry has been supported by the outstanding staff at The Royal Marsden throughout his illness. We were fortunate to spend the last few weeks together, being cared for by the amazing team in Bud Flanagan West Ward. There are no words to thank them for the compassion, care, and kindness that we were shown. Donations made in Terrys name will be directed to support this ward. Envelopes for donations, in lieu of flowers, to Maggies or the Royal Marsden will be available at The Plough.
